I’ve been looking at these -as an alternative to the thick hard all-plastic ones. The reviews seem great except some people have trouble getting the right adhesive/Velcro to keep it attached to the side of the console. Did you have that issue? The reviews only mention the problem not what solution they ended up finding lol

I do, but I’ve been burned by shitty dealer service in the past. I’ve done maintenance on my own since.

    Stock-ish
Long story short, broke part of my dual case shifter off a couple weeks ago and forgot to drain the fluid to extract the broken piece out. In turn, that broken piece finally made its way into the gears so had to pull the tcases out.
Did that, and double sheared the Uca finally.

Added a 2nd Plano tub with wheels to my "bed box" setup. One has recovery gear, tarps, air compressor, tire plugs, tape, and extra car stuff. The other has medical, food, clothes, and other survival stuff; just refreshed for Winter.

Can be easily removed if the bed is needed.

I love this modular approach! Instead of carrying everything you might possibly need, ever, you just carry what you're most likely to need, depending on the trip and/or season. I use a similar system, whereby I carry tow straps and recovery equipment during winter months only (we don't get much snow where I live, but when we do people are idiots and slide off the road all over the place). Nice job!

Mounted my bed winch for pulling the ice shack into the bed. I used 1 inch box tubing mounted to the header rail and the the side rails. Since the weight I am pulling will be about 130 lbs max, and is designed slide (sled with runners on it) the mounts should be more than enough to support the load.

I will say this winch is loud as hell, but it might just be due to it being in a enclosed bed.

No but I do work for a delivery company. I guess they are all about the same when it comes to accidents and safety. Funny thing is they want you to be safe, be accident free, try and blame you even if it's not your fault but not do much of anything to compensate people who earn many years of safe driving. Some incentive from the company to drive accident free would go a long way. If you are saving them thousands, possibly tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in accident cost, then they should show some appreciation to those who are accident free.

Ive been wanting to do it for over a year, finally I decided to do it. I got the winch at horbor freight for $80, came with a wireless remote too so I can guide the kayak or ice house up and not get tangled in wires.

Got my truck back from the body shop on 9/30, had the bumper cover repainted after getting it side swiped while sitting in my driveway. I'm satisfied. Took the SD card out of the FitCamX last night, and watched the body shop move the truck all around their lot, I'm impressed they had respect for the vehicle, well, except when they let it idle for about 20 minutes but that's petty I suppose. I felt a little vulnerable, I drove to the gas station to fill up and forgot my SD card in the laptop sitting at home, that was like a shot of reality realizing I would have no evidence if anyone else decided to bounce their vehicle into mine.

This ever happen to anyone? 2 days ago I stop into the gas station, and insert my key to the locking gas cap, then rotate counter clockwise, click-click-click ad infinitum. It wouldn't come off. I bring it home and with a large plumbers pliers finally get 'er open. I quickly applied anti-seize. Drove back to gas station and was able to top off the tank.
