2022 TRD Sport, Vibration/buzzing at 2000-2500rpm

I have recently brought a 2022 Tacoma TRD sport and noticed a vibration through the pedal and steering wheel every-time the vehicle reaches between 2k-2.5k rpm. It is most noticeable on the highway when the truck is constantly running at that rpm range. I only have got 1300miles on the car. Is anyone experiencing a similar issue?

Been doing that since 2016 models. Some more than others.

 

Yep i have a 2016 sport and there is a "fix" some people have done. you replace the weights in the wheel with a heaver one to dampen it more.
try the search function or someone may find it for you.
I don't notice it much anymore.
i Thought there was a TSB for it also

 

Interesting symptom...I've got almost 15K miles on my DCSB/AT Sport and haven't experienced that fault.

 

How would weight on a wheel create an RPM dependent vibration?

Steering wheel weight that is inside. it dampens the vibrations on the hands. I think its a weight from a Rav4 or something

 

Man, back in 2016 when the truck came out, this was a hot topic. Some trucks were worse than others and at this point, it's just how the truck behaves. There is no fix.

 

Have you tried turning on the ECT?

 

My manual transmission doesn't do this. TRD 2022 OR

My 2018 DCLB 4wd Sport had no vibrations from day one, then lifted 2/1 Bilsteins and larger tires and still vibration free. Might take it in for a look as it may be something that can be fixed.

 

Funny enough I have been driving it quite a bit for the past couples of days. Seem to be going away. Don’t want to jinx it… but thanks for all the comments!
