Look like a v6 to me, I see 2 valve cover. Should be a 4.0. Definitely not turbo but a cold air intake. It's missing the plastic engine cover.

V6 with an intake, no plastic cover and not an off-road if that matters to you.

Why? because it has an intake and CAI? maybe the previous owner liked to show it off or wanted to be cool? I wouldnt dismiss a vehicle with a CAI and aftermarket intake..look at the wheel wells for built up excess rubber from burnouts, then maybe Id walk away...but who does burnouts in a Taco?

Or just wanted to have a non-weird air filter, or an intake without a huge 'muffler'?

(I bought the TRD intake, pretty much just because it used a factory-Toyota-sized filter, so I could get a dry washable filter)

As luck would have it, I also somehow managed to run over my engine cover when I had it off, while I was debating whether I wanted to bother putting it back on... at least it answered that question for me.

This truck could be a TRD Off road PRERUNNER. (2wd) and have the vacuum assist.

Only 09+ TRD OR 4x4's, and VERY FEW 05-08 6 lug trucks optioned with the rare VSC package came with the electric boosted master cylinder.

the electronic booster only came standard on 09+ offroads, before that I believe it might have been either an option or they just came with the same vacuum assist as the rest of the fleet.

Exactly. He said it was a 2015 that's why I said it wasn't a OR.
