What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Sorry, forgot to add - I secured the boot w/ a 5/8 I.D. rubber grommet. Another member here recommended a 3/4 inch grommet. Apparently you trim one lip off the grommet and stuff it inside the chrome boot collar. I found with the 5/8 one you just can just use the whole grommet and it fits nicely inside the chrome collar. Regardless, the credit goes to @BLtheP for guiding me on how to get it done.

Hey folks! Haven't been super active on here lately but that doesn't mean the mods have stopped lol. Wanted to share some upholstery work I did a few months ago. I took video throughout the process and edited together for anyone interested in doing something similar.

I already had a Cali-raised relay holder. I just drilled a new hole in it to move it forward and put mine there:

 

No, its just there to keep the teucks battery trickle charged when off.

 

Just a set of 5100. I have the trd shocks but lots of sag in the front. I added a winch and a second battery unexpectedly. So the other day I was attempting to install some ome heavy springs and realized the trd only has the 3 notches instead of 5 so I need another inch.

 

What'd you do with the ray 10s?

Might go that route. Still rocking the oem for now. My commute is so short I sit an idle fo 15 minutes every day just so the battery doesn’t die. Let’s put it this way I could walk to work if it weren’t for the river. Lol.

 

I always give a visual inspection to mine after anybody works on it
