    Hi,

I've been following Westcott Designs for a couple months now and I was wondering if anyone here got their TRD Pro lift kit. I noticed the modification is unique but had some thoughts regarding the same issues that other Tacoma owners have when they are adding spacers and such like the struts buckling, etc.

If you have the Westcott TRD Pro kit for your Tacoma and have gone off-roading, I'd be curious to learn more about your experience. I currently have a '21 TRD Pro and wanted to learn more about adding lift without having to swap out my OEM shocks.

    Thanks,

Do a 1/2” top plate spacer and a 1.5” Progressive AAL and slap on some 285s. Shouldn’t have any issues.

I had 1/2” top plates on 2019 pro and had no issues off-road.

It’s too bad that Eibach has not yet released their springs for the 2020+ TRD Pro. They are a solid contender with the Westcott lift and no perch preload to be concerned about. I have Eibach on my Off-Road (2019 Pro suspension swap) and they have been awesome.

    None.

Are you able to fit 33’s without any nose diving while braking?

Yes, it has nearly eliminated the nose dive.

Awesome, thanks man. So one more question. I have OME 3" lift on my truck now that is at about 70k miles. Considering buying Pro suspension with 33k on it and he already has the. Eibach spring. Wondering if the TRD Pro suspension still has enough travel and therefore the same performance as a full 3" lift. It's a good deal on the suspension, just debating if I need it.

I think I got around 1.5” lift out of the Eibach springs in front. Since there’s no spacer involved, I believe it retains the stock travel.

This setup has been great and totally transformed the truck. Just be sure to get the 17-19 Trd Pro shocks when using the Eibach. They are having fitment issues with the 2020+.
