I’m looking to replace my front and rear shocks, My truck has a 6in lift and has had the same shocks since 2001 (the year the truck was bought). my dad did the suspension when he first bought it and hasn’t touched it since. The truck is now mine and I want to make the truck how it used to be when I was a kid. I’ve been trying to look for just the shocks but all that comes up is the full lift kit. any suggestions (I want to keep the lift)

I'm assuming you have a drop bracket lift since it's a 6" unless you're using spacers and body lift.

Pictures of your vehicle and suspension?

Try calling the manufacturer for replacement?

This. However, they will probably refer you out to a dealer (4 wheel parts, off road warehouse, etc..) so you may just want to give one of those sources a call as well.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
If I recall the Fabtech 6" lift kit comes with specific front struts that the spring collar/perch moves the front springs up to compensate for the drop of the differential and also much longer than factory. But I also remember seeing people run these drop bracket kits with custom King's or Radflow coilovers too. You can call Bilstein and see if they have something similar as an upgrade or there is a part number on the Fabtech shocks you can order from them too:

I know radflo makes a 6" replacement for the fabtech kit - run about $1200. Kings makes some for second and third gen, not sure about first gen?

Don’t know, which is why I said to call Bilstein directly but make sure you have measurements first and they can find something I’m sure that’ll fit. As cheap as the FB front FT70001 struts are, I would locate those as direct replacement and call it a day.
