2nd Amendment Incorporated to States

Today i walked into government class and my teacher (who knows i love to own and shoot guns) told me that the supreme court has made a ruling on the second amendment has been incorporated to the states, she keeps up with the court cases to know what is going on with the constitution. I havent learned any specifics yet, i just know that it has happened from what i have been told, anyone else have more info on this topic?

PS: dont ask what incorporated means, look it up, you are on the internet, it can give you a better definition than i can

i was told that it happened within the last month, i would love any information i can get on it, my government teacher (i am a senior, and basically disrupt class with govt. corruption comments) will be going in-depth into the details about it next week, so we will see then for sure

it has been incorporated for a while....where you been??? you can thank the Second Amendment Foundation for it in the case McDonald v Chicago..... the SAF also won the case Heller V D.C. i am a life member they sent me a plaque, belt buckle, stickers and an iron on patch for a acket etc. life membership was only 150$ that monies help them persue things like these cases and lobby etc


incorporation is a process by which amendments are binding upon the states through the 14th amendment

 

hadnt done any research since before it was incorporated, i had forgotten to even bother looking, since i live in TN i get my guns, i was keeping up with it, then i just forgot to keep looking
