I installed new pads and rotors on the front of my '04. Drilled/slotted rotors and pads by Power Stop.

Just drove down the street and at the end of every stop (even when going very slow) at the instant where I go from barely moving to a complete stop, there is a hard jarring noise.

Any idea what could be causing this?? Help greatly appreciated!

Is it possible the drilled slotted rotors are something you are not used to? Drilled/slotted rotors can do what you describe at low speed.

For future reference or anyone curious, the answer was that the brakes needed to be bedded. They were so new that at the very end of braking they would just stick instead of giving a smooth stop. So the hard "jarring" noise was the brakes locking up and the truck skidding for a couple inches.
