Low and high wiper speeds only, no intermittent

    Symptoms:
    • Low speed does not work at all
    • High speed works
    • Will not park when turned off
I did some research and found a thread (sorry, I lost it!) that said that a bad relay inside the wiper control switch on the steering column could these exact symptoms.

I found a supposedly "good" used switch on eBay and installed it (this was a switch that also had the intermittent feature, mind you) but the problem persists.

A mechanic friend said that most vehicles have a park switch inside the motor itself, but didn't comment on whether that could cause low speed not to work.

So I'm torn between rolling the dice on a new switch or rolling the dice on a new motor. Thoughts?

Found it. Broken "low speed" blue w/ black stripe wire from the switch to the motor. This wire powers the motor on low speed mode and when it returns to park.
