I am looking at a 2018 in Barcelona Red with 39k miles on it. It has a Dobinsons lift, TRD wheels, and a Magnusson S/C. Dealer says all was professionally installed and that the supercharger will not void any warranty. They are asking 46k. It's a TRD Offroad Premium.

My concern, or question, will the truck have the same longevity and reliability with the supercharger provided it has been and will be well taken care of?

Do you care that the super charger requires premium gas?

Its a great consideration, but I think its worth it as long as the truck stays reliable.

I’m surprised the dealer said the supercharger wouldn’t void the warranty

I ended up with a 2021 Tacoma, no supercharger.

Nice, was just curious. We just switched to the old school 4.0, 22 4Runner.

I’d get that in writing from them. My understanding is it does void the warranty, but if it is a Magnuson supercharger and professionally installed Magnuson would warranty the powertrain. I believe there is also a process for submitting paperwork to get the coverage through Magnuson.

I would double check Magnusons website if I were you before buying.
