It gives her that extra sense of security for when the coyotes are getting too close for comfort.

 

Talk about needing that "extra sense of security". Sad too at the same time because you obviously can't put full blame on the coyote as it's just simply trying to survive. Mother Nature can be very brutal.

So true. However I’m glad that cat used one of its lives to survive that attack. We almost lost one of our late kitties to a predator. she escaped but did suffer some injuries requiring vet care.

 

Can’t like…whoever filmed that made no effort scare the coyote off the porch.

 

Yeah, just sad all around. A good friend of mine lost 2x cats to coyotes. They come out of nowhere. You can be cautious and still get attacked.

But yeah, super glad the cat lived to fight another day or hopefully never have to... Very glad that your precious survived!!!

 

Yeah, that got me thinking too when I first saw this???

Like I mentioned, the coyote has to survive too, but in situations like this, obviously one should "protect their own". I really don't know how else to express that thought?
