Cast OE exhaust headers on 97 Taco with 2.7 cracked. I hear it is a common problem. Had a shop replace it with a 2001 factory header made of tube steal. Shop guy said it bolted right up.
When I was searching the user groups the links to the pictures on how to do it didn't work for me. They said you could modify the old heat shield to fit the new manifold. Has anyone done this? Any tips? Does the hinged end of the shield go toward the front? Thanks for any help.
