Are these able to be mounted offset to the left or right? Or are these brackets only going to work with the centered middle mounting bolts on the bottom?

Not as currently designed. It might be possible to design a bracket to be offset but I have never looked to see if this design is even possible. I cannot say for certain that it is possible or how easy it might be to design and build a bracket that would work. I can try to see if it is possible but I do not own a third Gen so I would need to find one to even check.

Installed mine today after 3 years without having a front plate.

This was the perfect product and was just what I was looking for!!!

I spray painted it black and got 1/2” bolts so that I could have a license plate surround.

Instructions and shipping were perfect! Install took less than 5 min too

Got mine painted and installed. I’m not content with the Phillips screws so I didn’t paint them. For paint I used SEM trim paint #39143.
For my plates, I am using two thicker plates which do have some weight to them, one is for the color to show in the cut out letters. For 90% of people I’d say 1/4x20x 1/2 is the size you need. I may put some nuts and bolts the bottom plate holes but of course that won’t keep anyone from stealing it. Highly recommend this bracket if you don’t want to drill.

    Is anyone else’s bracket “bouncy”?

How about using an allen hex head cap bolt instead of screws harder to remove

Great to see your license plate holder evolve from the prototype into what it is today!

Many thanks to YOU for working together with me from halfway across the country to develop the working prototype and final product. It surprises me at times that exchanging pictures and messages can produce a successful product. You were great with specific information that made it all possible.
