I'm totally excited...I stopped by Virginia Arms in Manassas and handled the new E2 series Sig P226. The grip circumfrence has been reduced and its much more comfortable. I've got smaller hands and reaching the trigger on the Classic models has always been a bit of a stretch, but the new E2s are perfect.

    Anybody have one?

I placed an order for a P229 Enhanced Elite .40. They've got the new short reset trigger and beavertail, along with the new grip.

The shop guys also told me that Sig is working on a kit to convert classic models to the new E2 configuration. I don't know if that includes the short reset trigger.

Can't wait! :D I carry my 229 Elite Stainless when I ride and in the wintertime when I can conceal more gun. Winter is about over, but riding season is just picking up!
