Help with rear axle

I need help with my rear axle on my 95 5speed 4 banger xtra cab. Somehow something has rusted making my rear axle slide down going forward and down going back. I’m currently looking for a replacement or something better to further my drift/show build. I’m looking for a 8.8 lsd off of a 4th Gen mustang for my build but will settle for a replacement until later. Can anyone help me and/or have any experience with a problem like mine. Would love to hear any advice or just a talk on my plans for my build. Thank you. (Also I’m from Hilo Hawaii if you wanted to know)
