Whats up guys? Like the title says this one has me stuck. I have an 02 tacoma in the shop and when I engage the turn signal the hazard lights flash in the gauge cluster, the HVAC control lights flash and the gear selector lights flash but none of the exterior marker or signal lights illuminate. When I depress the brake pedal the hazard lights, HVAC control lights and gear selector lights come on but none on the exterior do. When I turn on the emergency flashers all the same interior lights come on but nothing happens on the outside.
When I got the truck it didnt have a front bumper, the PO had routed the turn signals to the side marker lights in the front. Those side markers are LED and worked previously. I replaced the flasher relay with an LED compatible one this morning and nothing changed. I tried a different emergency flasher switch from a 98 tacoma and it did the same thing. I tried a different multi switch from the same 98 parts truck and nothing changed. I have checked all the fuses, checked the wiring for breaks or obvious damage. I also tried a halogen bulb from the parts truck and that doest work. The tail lights, brake lights and reverse lights dont work at all. I checked with a test light at the front side marker lights and it flashes with the blinker sound. I supplied ground and power to the side marker LED lights and they light up.....
Ive never seen anything like this before, any ideas? I can post a video link to youtube if that helps.
    thanks in advance!

Behind and above fuse box inside. There's a ground bolt on the left A piller. About even with where the door stop is bolted into door jamb. Make sure it's tight.
Roughly where I'm pointing but on the other side of door jamb. If you pull the dash bezel it's easy to get to if you can't find it by going under dash. Also check your body ground to battery post.

Yep, circuit is compromised somewhere before reaching it’s intended destination and returning to complete the circuit.

Definitely something loose. Start in the front. Have someone sit in the truck and some one wiggle wires around you'll find it in a little while like that.

Gotta be honest, im not sure what i did but everything works. I took everything apart, the grill (aftermarket one with lights in it), headlights, marker lights, dash, multi switch, everything. Double checked wiring, grounds. My power probe was showing 11ish volts at the plugs when the flashers were on. It literally just started working out of nowhere. I cant attribute it to anything I did.

You "fixed" it but it'll be back.
