Is is possible to disable the warning screen when using the cruise control in a 21 taco? It is a pain when the screen constantly comes up in the dash display

Not sure it answers the question, but when I use the cruise control, I press it for a few seconds to disable the adaptive one. I see no warning nor the truck is slowing down to traffic in front of me.

Not sure you can use adaptive cruise control without the warnings.

    Oh look, another mod....
It sounds like you're using the active cruise control, and you need to use the "old school" cruise control; the kind that doesn't speed up or slow down for you. To do this, press and hold the cruise control button for about 5 solid seconds and that will enable standard cruise control.

    Thanks all,
I know about the standard cruise control. I like the adaptive. Just was looking to see if the warning screen could be disable. Most of the time I know the car being warned about is there before the warning and then am distracted to the screen.

You can adjust the sensitivity level of the ACC, but you cannot (I haven't found a way) to turn off the visual alerts.

I haven’t found a way to avoid the screen while using adaptive cruise. All you can do is hit the back arrow each time
