2009 Tacoma, V6 4wd quad cab, the truck fails to start. This is a VERY intermittent problem that has only happened I'd say 6 times in the last 2 years. The starter turns fine, (good battery) but won't start. If you let it sit for a few minutes, it may start but then will not idle and then die. Sit a few more minutes and then after I'd say about 8 to 10 attempts to start over the course of about 15 to 20 minutes, the truck starts and runs fine.
The truck has 133K on it and I bought it with 64K on it. I get no codes on the dash or the maintenance needed light does not come on. The truck will always finally start, (so far) and when this happens it always takes 8 to 10 tries to get it to start so it doesn't seem to be getting any better or worse.
Anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any replies.

Sounds like a fuel supply issue. Maybe check the fuel pressure and the fuel pump resistor and associated relay.

See if the security light next to the clock is flashing with the key on when the truck won't start.
