our free 2012+ hood had a hood scoop bonded onto it that we decided to take off, had to grind all the adhesive off and smooth it back out a bit:
    upload_2022-10-7_7-58-4.jpg

    Got everything into the garage:
    upload_2022-10-7_8-0-45.jpg

My dad put epoxy primer onto the bed sides, hood and over any filler:
    upload_2022-10-7_7-59-46.jpg

The white epoxy is almost a perfect match to our white:

10 bottles of tintable raptor with super white tint from EBAY seller ctigroup. We used the better raptor gun with the adjustable nozzle 50 psi at the gun with the trigger pulled, nozzle set 4 turns out. Masking around the window seals was a pain. 2 coats, 1 hour in between.

@jwarr I’ve been watching all you and your dad have accomplished. Props to you both, amazing project and time you’re spending together. You will always remember this time and and hopefully some day pass the knowledge learned to a son or daughter of your own.

    So, the big question.
When do you get your drivers license?

It's getting close, can't wait to see the finished product.

Did you address the weak bumper mounts? I'd hate to see you have to pull on those recovery points and damage your hard work.

THIS is the reason I want to go to auto mechanic school,, so I can have a cool father/son project with my boys and be able to do at least 1/4 of what you're doing here. WOW!!

so the inner studs are welded to the tubing that we put across so those are much stronger already over stock, we are still thinking about if we will do more to tie in the outer studs better to the frame.

We got the window run, door glass and belt molding back in:
    upload_2022-10-17_7-50-48.jpg

and got the bedsides back onto the bed:
    upload_2022-10-17_7-49-22.jpg

and got the front fenders and bed back in place:
    upload_2022-10-17_7-52-11.jpg

Everything fit perfect and we can now say for sure that the only difference between a double cab frame and an access cab frame is the rear cab mounts and the front bed mounts
