I had my clutch swapped and the upgraded bearing kit installed and the shop forgot one of the bolts. this was over a year ago and I've since moved across the country. I can buy a bolt and replace it, but I'm not sure exactly what the specs are ... and I looked up the OEM parts guide but I'm not sure which one it is (and even if I look up the part numbers, it doesn't specify what the bolt itself actually is in terms of MM or length). can someone help me out? photos attached. also please ignore the mess, I'm working on it.

You sure a bolt goes through there? Doesn't look threaded. According to that diagram not all the holes have bolts

I think what you have circled in red are the dowel pins ? A bolt def goes in that hole, the threads are on the engine side. Looks like #2 from your diagram is the one he needs ?

Take another bell housing bolt out and stick it in there without threading it down. If it sticks out roughly 1 inch then something that same size would work. Take the test bolt to a parts store, dealer, or hardware store and match it up

Torque on the big bell housing bolts (that go into the block) are 53 lb/ft I think. The ones that go into the oil pan are less, like maybe 25-30 lb/ft

ah yeah you're right, just can't see the threads from the angle in the pic

I just assumed they're different, and if it's #2 then it's different. Are you saying the threads go about an inch in?

Stick something down there, like a pencil to see how deep it is. That'll give you a pretty close depth. Then just use another bolt for thread pitch and size

All four bottom bolts are identical, remove one and have it matched at a bolt store. 14mm head.

The larger 17mm head bolts are the critical fasteners, so no damage would have happened.

good to know, it didn't seem like it had warped or anything like that, I just figured I'll replace it while I'm under there

Weirdest thing; bolt #2 on the graphics above is a tiny thing. The dealership had a different number: 90119-A0140

You sure that's the right graphic above? I know they're nothing more than glorified cartoons, but this one here appears to be a closer representation to yours. You'll see the (#2) 90119-A0140 bolt that your dealer provided, but it would appear that maybe instead it's the (#1) 90080-11426 bolt instead that you're looking for. :notsure:

I think it's a rare case of the graphic being wrong; the part was labeled as a windshield wiper bolt

    I’m with you.
    That doesn’t look right.
Looks too small and too shiny.

Not trying to be rude, but you could spend hours on the internet trying to find the bolt, burning jet fuel shipping parts back and forth across the country

Just crawl under there, pull another bell housing bolt out and size it up

The dealership is actually closer to my house than a store that would have a good selection of generic bolts. I ended up getting the right one.

Care to share with everyone on this thread who's taken their time to provide input on what exactly was the "right one" (P/N)? Or was it the 90119-A0140 bolt you referenced in your earlier post?

It was the larger bolt you mentioned here

the dealership had it but first brought out the tiny one

That is not the correct bolt.
