Please help. Check engine light

    Stock and trying to keep it that way.
    Any help would be much appreciated. Check engine / trac off light both came on. Throwing code P2441 (secondary air injection system switching valve stuck closed bank 1) Please send me any info on what to check or how to diagnose? Let me know kids✌❤️

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    It's a very common problem in 2012 trucks, you might want to check with your dealer and see if you truck is cover under Special Service Campaign 20TC01 because the parts for the system are kinda expensive.

    Secondary Air Injection System Bypass Kit
    If it is not covered under warranty I caution replacing the failure prone components. I strongly warn again using aftermarket part as well. Either of these options will only lead to future failure and more expense.
    The Secondary Air Injection is failure prone and you can spend all day reading horror stories of owners trying to address. That said, all those who run into this issue after the warranty/recall highly recommend the Bypass Kit. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out, DM or give us a call.
