Tried looking up answers and couldn't find any, but I'm super new to the forum so I could just be missing something.

Curious if a 17x9 -25 wrapped in 33x12.5 tire is going to have the same fitment as a 20x12 -44 wrapped in 295/55. I know there is differences, but seeing the fitment of the -44 got me worried mine will poke just as much.
Watched a video of some kid hacking tf out of his truck on a 2" lift and now I'm debating on going for a bigger lift to avoid doing that. I figured the cab mount would be an issue but he did a bit more trimming to the body than I was aware of.

PS: I cant test fit because i havent thrown my lift or anything on yet. Waiting for my CMR to get done since my tires wont clear.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

What we do is pull the fender liner as far forward, you can also heat it and massage it to get more clearance. No need to cut right away.

With that set up I would do the CMC right away as you plan to.

More lift won't cure anything, it will just hit lower on the fender liner. 2" is a sweet spot for ride and height on Tacoma, don't push any further.

Glad to know about the fender liner. I should've specified a little more on where he was cutting at

33-12 is a wide tire you might need more lift . with a 2" lift look at a 285 70 it should be easier to do ,you will need super control arms, cab mount chop and some trimming .It would look great with 33-12 on it.

-44 is nuts, but even with spacers I havent had to cut a physical fender yet.

You basically push the caster as positive as you can so it only rubs on the cab mount. Then the limited cutting or modding is on the front bumper.
