    Hi everyone,

I've been looking around the forum, and eBay and haven't really seen anything come up for 1st gen Tacoma.

    I have a 01 Tacoma quad cab 4x4 180k

I'm in the process of saving money for a ARB winch bumper, but it does not have options for D ring shackles. the only thing i see working is found for gen 2 and that is brackets that fit where the factory hooks are under the engine area. i would like to remove the tow hooks under mine and install the same d ring setup in place of the factory hooks.

anyone have any links to a d ring kit that would work on the gen 1?

    thanks,
    john

    Uhm, what?

Did you look at the front of the bumper? There are two recovery points where you can use a d-ring, soft shackle, etc.

It's probably just hard to see them in the ARB advertisements photos:

    But they are there.
