Greetings! Just bought a nice, low mileage 2006 TRD Sport 4x4. It’s had the frame replacement and is remarkable shape for an older truck. I’m in Ottawa, Ontario, so rust is a MAJOR issue for us.

I’ve been lurking on here for a couple of weeks and have found some fantastic information so far.

Thanks to each and every one of you folks that takes the time to answer questions and help out newbies like me!

    Cheers,

    Jeff

Great to have you here! Mine is also a 2006 TRD Sport 4x4 with a new frame and in terrific condition. Powerwash the underside and get it undercoated. Also keep an eye on your CV joints and boots.
At some point the boots fail and the grease slings out and you can go for awhile but not forever.

Thanks for the tips! Made an appointment to have the undercoating done next week. It kept my old Jeep looking new for many years.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Howdy! Salt Neutralizer first then rinse followed by Rust Fighter has been good to me 2B6506BE-2E8B-4D03-8E8C-DFE5FDB3E35B.jpg
