I have a completely stock 2020 OR with 16" stock wheels. I also live in an area that salts the crap out of the roads for 3-4 winter months. I am itching to find some bronze rims as replacement for current ones (possible Christmas gift to myself). I like the Method NV 305's and the TRD Pro's. I wish to stay stock size to run an unmodified suspension.
    I have a couple Q's.

Do the rim bolts on the bead locks rust, pit, corrode or otherwise deteriorate? I had zinc coated tailgate letters that looked like shit after 4 months. I would hate to spend money on a beautiful set of rims (Methods) and have issues with the rim bolts.

If I purchased the Pro rims (17"), are there any problems such as rubbing or modifications I would need to do, other than add new rubber and go? I like this idea because it has no bolts to worry about. I do know the Sport has 17" rims also, so I do not think this is a problem.

Finally, I know prices went up significantly since all the supply chain stuff happened. Might it be better to wait until spring for a possible pricing decrease? I know we cannot prognosticate this, but any information is appreciated.

Can't answer the corrosion question, but going to 17"... no issues. Just get the Sport sized tires 265/65R17 and enjoy. As for pricing... that's anyones guess what will happen...

I had a set of OEM 16” headlocks from the TX Baja series and the bolts didn’t rust up in salty Hawaii or road slush winter WV.
