So I got my windshield replaced today at Safelite. Everything looks good but I swear there was a plastic part that should be right below the windshield. I can see partway into the engine bay. I might be crazy though. Should there be a piece that blocks it off?
    thanks in advance!20221013_165054.jpg 20221013_165137.jpg

If I’m seeing the pictures right they did not install the cowl at the bottom of the windshield correctly. There are clips on the bottom side of that cowl that basically hug the bottom edge of the windshield. Looks like they didn’t do that. They just kind of placed it there. It’s gonna leak like crazy next rain. water will enter the air intake for the air conditioner/heat and you’ll get water all over your passenger side floor, maybe ruin the fan motor too

Looks normal to me but I'm on a phone so it's hard to tell. The rubber strip should be tight against the glass.
