My left rear ABS speed sensor is saying it’s bad I have tried three different sensors and it says there is no signal I tried to check the wires going to the plug and I’m getting continuity on one but not on the other anything else he could be my ABS light traction control light and brake light on the dash are on

I have checked all the fuses everything is good not really sure at this point what else to check really do not want to take it to the dealership because I know it will be Very expensive for them to probably take a look at it I’m just curious if anybody has any other thoughts on what I should try or to do?

All four of the wires for the rear the sensor should have continuity correct? I only have continuity all three of the wires on the rear one of the wires on the driver side not making a beeping noise on my meter when I tested and the harness?

Yes, you should have continuity at all four wires of the harness. It sounds like that's your issue.

OK that is kind of what I thought and what I gather from reading about the other post I got another hornets out of a wrecked truck yesterday and it has the same issue as the one on my truck the one wire on the driver side doesn’t have continuity just hard to believe that it has the same exact issue as mine with that sensor not reading cause the lights on the dash to Be on?

I guess I can try tapping into that harness and running a single wire for the one that is not working and see if that fixes the problem before ordering a new harness

These harnesses can be fairly fragile and tear internally so I'm not too surprised another harness had issues, though it is odd that it was the same break. If that sensor can't read then it would cause the ABS light to illuminate and also throw an ABS code. Fairly basic scanners can read and clear ABS codes which may be a worthwhile investment.

If you're handy with a soldering iron, cut up one of the bad harnesses and put new wire in and test for continuity, then install on the truck. I bet it'll solve your problem.
