    My 2020 sr5 is smarter than i am when it comes to up or downshifting. It seems to know when sooner than i do.

    Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    Downshift, upshift - yes.
    It's a narrow power band 3.5V6 (I assume - you didn't say) with a 6-speed auto that tries to manage that power band and satisfy the Fed's emission requirements.
    You'll get used to it - I did.

    Some days after a rough day of working with certain jack wagons, it nice to turn off the radio and embrace the shift on the way home.
