I've got a nice clean set of 17" silver painted 6-Spoke aluminum rims off a new 4Runner, and I'd like to replace the 16" factory painted aluminum 5-spoke rims on my Tacoma. I have 2 questions for the community:

    - Will the tire pressure sensors for the 2013 rims fit the newer 4Runner rims (I have 4 new ones)? If not, will new tire pressure sensors for the new 4Runner rims be able to talk to the 2013 truck? The tire pressure sensors looked nearly identical at the dealership...

    - The 4Runner rims have a 15mm offset, while the original 2013 rims have a 30mm offset. I'm thinking I may want to put a set of 1" wheel spacers on to push everything out to a little past the stock plane. Any thoughts on wheel spacers for this application?

If the new sensors are for aluminum wheels, they will work on the aluminum 4Runner wheels. I put the 4Runner Trail wheels on mine and the 4R sensors worked with my truck, so you might be able to use the 4R sensors, depending on year of 4R.YMMV

    Same crap everyone else got
wish you were in GA, I have those 4runner wheels with brand new tires sitting in my garage I'd let go for super cheap. Came on my wife's 4runner from Carvana and I have no use for them.

The tire pressure sensors for the 2013 rims fit fine on the 2022 4Runner rims, but I’ve got to go to the dealership to get them programmed. Some tire shops aren’t able to do this, apparently. I bought the 1” wheel spacers, but don’t think I’m going to even put them on, I like the offset where it is. The rim upgrade was cheap, especially compared to the tires and sensors, and are definitely a nice subtle improvement to this 10 year old truck.

They will work. It'd be no different than running spacers on any other wheel. People have their thoughts both ways on those. They work great with a 33x10.5 and no spacers

As mention, your currently installed sensors will swap over to the 4Runner without issue.

Regarding the stance, the 4Runner wheels are going to sit just over 1/2-inch further out when compared to where your current wheels sit.

And you even kept all your mud flaps

Are those wheels painted or are those the black covers you can get for them?
