Metric equivalent of 6 gauge IIRC, slightly larger than 6 but not 4 gauge.

    Surprisingly small.

Better off with a big three upgrade, there was a user on here whom made big three big wire OFC upgrade kits @deanosaurus , I have one but don't know if they make them anymore.

I was actually surprised it was that big! I'm used to these being pretty small on other cars I've owned. I actually recently went to install that Big 3 upgrade. Got 3/4 of the way thru the project and decided to abandon it. I really just didn't like how it was all fitting. The 4ga wire that ran to the fuse box did not fit at all and required a ton of hack modifications to get it to sorta work. After hacking it to get it to work I decided it was too hacky for me. Ended up re-wrapping the original charge harness and reinstalling. I may go back eventually and build my own kit with slightly smaller wire or just change the terminal ends to work better or something. But really at the moment I'm not running anything with enough power for this to be important and I was just trying to do some future proofing.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I can make the battery cables pretty reasonable I would need to check the price of the cable and lugs.

To be able to replace my stock.

1/0 welding cable I get scraps.

I'm not running anything super crazy either, I like a nice sound system but have no desire for anything beyond 500w tops, even that's more than enough, got lots of lights but LED's draw next to nothin' only big electron consumption I have is my winch and that's used sparingly.

But I figured it couldn't hurt and may as well make it the best it can be so I did the Big 3 (5) upgrade to approximately 9/16" OFC wire whatever that is in gauge, the HKB adjustable voltage booster and SDHQ billet terminals and it makes me happy.

Stereo does sound more clear and everything seems maybe a touch brighter, I'm sure a good bit of that is expectation and subconscious justification but better and more grounds on a DC system is never a bad thing.
