Bronze looks good on your truck

 

I was able to make it work on the passenger side without cutting the grommet. I guess the harness for the locks must be on both sides to plug into. The only issue I really had was there was no camera harness to trace. I just used the frame and what not to zip tie too. Also didn’t make sense to me to put on the driver side when the kit comes with the exhaust protection for the muffler but I guess it’ll work either side.

 

Scored these 4 wheels with TPMS sensors with pretty good 265/75/16 Coopers for $100. Gonna sell off the tires to hopefully recoup my $100 and then some and put a set of studded snows on these steelies for the winter.

 

I think they set it up for the passenger side so when you double click your fob it unlocks the tail gate. If you have you fob settings set that way.

 

Agreed. Leave the bronze.

 

I’m with you. The bronze is off with the satin grey theme. I think MGM vinyl covers would work well, if we’re giving unsolicited advice.

Put my winter tires on, just as the first snow of the season hit.

Studded Hankook I-pike, and I put a couple 50-lb sandbags in the back for when I’m driving it with the bed empty. Certainly overkill for daily driving in the city but we spend a ridiculous amount of time skiing and that means driving on steep mountain roads in all conditions. This is my first winter with this truck and I don’t want to risk not having full traction when I need it.

 

I just flipped the relays on mine so wires pointed up. No issues so far.

Well, I'm back from a month in TW jail, and, since my email has been a disaster for a while, I'm still not sure what it was I did, that ran afoul of the rules.
I would like to find out, so that I don't piss anyone off, again.
I'd be happy to hear how I might get that info, since I haven't found a means to ask someone in charge.

Yeah just swapped mine out a couple months ago

 

I guess I got gigged for something political, but I can't say that I recall what it was.
I'll certainly endeavor to avoid anything like that, going forward.
