New body style of Tundra spotted today on the road. Not to sure about my take...looks like a cross between the Nissan and a Chevy. Looks a little "leaner"? But then again I wasn't too sure about the 3rd generation Tacoma but it grew on me. Is the Toyota Design Studio is Southern California still?

For some reason I thought the Tundra was designed in Detroit but maybe that was just the powertrain.

I'd say it looks more like a GMC than a Chevy.

Things Toyota should redesign on the 3rd gen Tundra.

Widen the front bucket seats and narrow the console.

Design a complete steel or aluminium bed

Design front and rear steel bumpers, add front tow hooks to the front.

Enlarge the head light housings and stack the lenses vertical

Condense the size of the grill and enlarge the vents next to the vertical head lamps

    Edit

The truck does look like a GM truck, that was designed around an F-150 with parts borrowed from the Camry assembly line.

I think they should just take the 2.5 gen truck, bump the GVWR up to 8500 lbs and give it the 10 speed.
