BestTop and racks

Anyone have a Best Top...not a Softtopper for your second gen? I got a killer deal on one....I wanted a Supertop but I couldn't pass up this deal barely used.

I ordered a bed rack system that goes over the topper....from Heavy Metal Off-Road. It's made to go over a SoftTopper but the owner says it should be fine or same set up for the Best Top...He just had to make them a tad taller since the Best Top since about an inch higher.

Anyone have this set up?

 

We had a customer try to use our Softopper rack with a Bestop on a Tacoma, and it didn't work out.

I don't remember the exact details, but there was interference with the mounting feet. It works with other trucks, but not on a Tacoma, and that's because of the accessory rail.

The customer wanted to keep the rack, so he got rid of the Bestop and bought a Softopper.
