Purchased March 2017, have about 40k miles on them, starting to notice some cracking. Also feeling some wobbling around 50mph but that could be a wheel weight, alignment or something totally different. What do you guys think?

You are getting there. 5-6 years is about what you get. My first set of Michelin LTX A/T2 had 90k on them with 8/32’nds left at 5.5 years. I replaced them because of cracking but mine were a bit worse than yours.

There are guys who would drive them longer, but I'd replace them soon if they were mine. If it were May or June I might try to get through the summer with them. But while we don't get a lot of snow it wouldn't be unusual to see one in November-March I'd want better tires before then.

I wouldnt run them much longer, start planning on replacing them.

I just called a BFG set similar this week, they were super loud as well. Rode like crap lol.

I replace tires every 5yrs regardless of mileage on them. Would never go past 6yrs imo.

They look fine. I’d run them until 4/32 then replace. Tires can be ran for 6-10 years
