Nothing too exciting today. Oil change and tire/spare psi check. Really racking up the miles on the 2017.

Bumper is a Scorpion brand from Bumper Superstore. Seems to be pretty sturdy and didn’t require cutting the factory bumper. Winch is some Amazon special that I had on my last truck. Hasn’t been used a ton, but has always worked well when needed. I think Rugcel is the brand, 13,500 pound with synthetic line.

Sold that B. Didn’t need a payment or a truck really. Plus just didn’t like it that much. Nothing wrong with it at all just didn’t really ever click with me

Should have at least gone with an 08 and up c6 for the ls3 though. :boink: Also, the roof delaminates on the 05 c6's. Did you finish that factory five yet? :burnrubber:

Used it like a truck after cutting and splitting some wood. Based on the amount of squat compared to the 1,100 pounds of concrete I had in it before, I'd guess the firewood tips the scales at about the same weight.... lol

Pretty smooth! I’d been putting it off but I figured ‘why not’ while I have the time.. worst part is getting the axle out. A big flat head and a mini sledge made easy work of it though, it just took me a while before I tried that option lol. I also had the bushing in the freezer all day to try and help with install, not sure if it actually did anything but it went in fairly easily.

The piston-rod looks like one mm or two bigger diameter, and the whole unit looks bigger, will you need to replace the pump as well to enjoy any improved benefits of the tundra rack? Is it from Same year tundra as your truck?

Rod is 8mm bigger, housing is way larger/beefier, and this one has been modified to work in a Tacoma/pressure has been bumped up a bit. Stock pump still, and has more turning power so far on the first drive. But, will eventually get a high pressure pump to go with.

It was more about what I could get for a good cash price and the 08 and up were around 10k more to start. The roof on mine (clear plastic part) doesn't look the best but thats okay as it doesn't bother me. I am enjoying working on it, and having a car for once. Fun little project and I knew nothing about the corvette before buying this. Decided not to do the FF as the delivery was a year out from when I placed that order initially. AKA I still wouldn't start receiveing the parts until this upcoming December! Then finding the time to actually work on it given my schedule would be impossible.
