The Icon leaf pack is a good option, adjustable leafs for different applications. Add a leaf will work, but really is only a bandaid. There is a big difference in price between the two.

On my 2nd gens, I’ve run Alcans, and air bags on different trucks, by far, the proper leaf springs are better in every way. Ride, ride hight, load carrying, it was all better with the Alcans.

Natrex, thank you. Yeah, X Overland ( heavily sponsored) but have lots of experience.
Folks can have book knowledge. But others can have experience. I prefer the later.
Try to find their 3 part series that was on Amazon Prime. Their journey to the tip of Argentina.
I even subscribe to them. Their tips ie... camping in the desert, planning your trips etc.

I enjoy Clay. He is a well spoken individual. It's easy to kinda envy their journeys. But at least they share it.

Thanks for admiring my rig. Truth be told, engrained in my nature is efficiency. Ergonomics. Safety. It all stems from a life in manufacturing industry. Ships, aircraft.

To me G2G Must have all that. (Call Me OCD) But a bigger part of my build and the best part of my build is my wife.
I like her with me. She never complains on mountain shelf roads. Even questions our elevation when even I don't want to know what it is as I'm focused behind the wheel . But making G2G easy, tolerable for both of us has been my paramount goal.

Just know, my advice is true. If you want to carry weight - try to identify/ estimate what is going to be carried.
Also know, if you change the rear (lift) you will be forced to change the front end....The dollars add up.
That's why I didn't go off the shelf for the rear leafs and force a change to my front end that I didn't want to put out of tolorance at even more of a cost.

One poster in this thread said something to the effect " the truck is xxx years old....something like that..."
That may be true, buts it's a Toyota. My '92 T4R of almost 30 years. Outfitted with OME. No saggy ass it that T4R.
Understand your weight and build accordingly.

A million dollar house. A $100 roof...A million dollar house on a sand substrate. It will fail.

If your Taco is important to you. And you want it a certain way. Research it. Send a note to Clay at X Overland. ( I am certain he would reply) but research it and understand what you need. But you will buy once and cry once.

Having said that.... Goose Gear, I get it, CNC cut and coated. What $2500 to delete my rear seat? I'm in it for $400.
    Sound insulated and tie downs.
A Front Runner water tank $200 plus? Mine - Amazon with a pump for $60.00
I don't need Fox, or high end OME, Icon with smart phone control.

You have a great rig. You may need rear leafs. ( foundation)

Just don't a lot of shit fool you. Theirs lots of high end shit that folks really don't need.

Be smart. Above all be SAFE.

damn I said a lot of shit. Lol!

I don't build for me.... I build for us.
