@Wulf how bad of an idea is it to put a bend in either side of a steering link? It's close to this pan, I have a couple options of moving the steering linka if it's a bad idea.

No, only on my truck. It snapped off, and I found someone on Reddit to print it for me.

Problem is you won’t have your ignition key if you change the whole thing. I spent maybe $10 to have someone 3D print me the cam lock part of it, and it fixed it.

    Mmmmm

Yea that'll do it. I was fine with pork brains and scrambled eggs but drew a hard line on jellied meats. Liverwurst is good though, I've got no problem with meat pastes

I've seen plenty of bent or Z shaped ones, it's not ideal but it'll run. Just make sure it's something thick enough that can live life with a bend

Yes it was pretty weird. Didn't feel loose but I snugged it. All warning lights off and he is good to go. Still needs to go to Toyota to fix it.

Yeah to have 17k miles and losing brake fluid at a connection indicates to me that there's a defect in the part. If it was mine I would be making sure they are replacing parts even if I "stopped" the leak.

Yes and no. It came from the factory as a PreRunner poverty spec with crank windows.

For sure. Hopefully the tech that gets the job has that mindset and my brother doesn't have to be pushy about it. Thanks again for your insight on this.
