2016 Tacoma: I have an odd rotational clunking sound in 4wd and am going through everything. Next up to replace is the front driveshaft U Joints. Does anyone know which U Joint, preferably Spicer, fits? Based on previous research on here, the front u joints are slightly smaller and a different part than the rears. I'm trying to skip the dealership and get them online at an auto store for the lifetime warranty but everything online keeps saying "rear driveshaft". TYIA

When I click on your link, it just brings up some random parts (see attached)

Maybe try searching yourself on napa catalog. They 100% have them. Or phone them monday.

Super weird but it's saying "No Universal Joints results found for your 2016 Toyota Tacoma". I was able to at least see parts that fit on Autozone or Advanced Auto.. which Spicer is it? Should be a number after "Spicer" such as "Spicer 1310" or "Spicer 5-153X"

I see what you mean, very few front listings. I understand you asking for help haha.

I think dealer or phoning a parts distributor is the only answer.

It looks like 2014-2016 has the same part # for the ujoint, but thats a gamble at best.

Get a part number from a dealer. Then you can use that as a cross reference.

So I have a part number (0437104044) but it looks like not a single auto parts store sells them (unless I'm missing something). It's literally only OEM or guessing on if one works

So, idk if the joints are the same between the front and rear. You could also try calling spicer themselves and see what they say. It is odd trying to find parts for these every now and then though, anyways, here’s what I got.

After turning 300k - I started getting a vibration while on the loud pedal. Crawling under my rig and inspecting the driveshaft revealed the U-Joint at the transmission w play. I searched the parts stores, there is no listing for a 3rd Gen. I ordered a spicer 1310 and 1350 stated in this thread but got worried and ended up ordering the OE part. Dropped the driveshaft, marked the position on the yokes w a gear indexing pen. Used my ball joint press and a hammer, 30 mins later the new U Joint installed, vibration gone and I’m good to go. It was a very install repair.
