    Hey TW,

Can anybody explain to me what this wire is? The picture is self explanatory - goes to the master cylinder - but its purpose I don't know! I ask because I bought it this way and I have no DTC codes. I recently replaced the heater valve and discovered this wire broke, fudged around with it a bit, and then my ABS light started blinking while the ignition was turned on but not running! I also have not had any DTC's.

I'm thinking a simple solder would be enough of a fix too. TIA

The sensor on the master cylinder is just a level indicator- When low, the Brake light will stay on with the parking brake off.

Yes, exposing that loom and finding the corresponding cut wires should be fine. solder and marine grade heat shrink.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
It might be the switch failed in the open position and instead of unplugging it was just cut.

This looks about right. Looks like a clean cut happened and wasn't a tear on the seams!

    Appreciate the feedback ya'll!

    Cheers, EP
