2016 manual trans V6...intermittent rough idle

    They must breed smaller horses in Japan these days, but there is no way this thing is making 276 or whatever they claim. Went over a steep bridge today from an almost stop at the bottom....My worn out 20 year old S10 did way better up the bridge than the taco...with about 1/2 the horsepower and 500 lbs of crap that always lived in the bed.

    Electronically controlled throttles are a lot about HOW you roll into it...they don't do anything if you just put it to the floor. Maybe I just need some more miles under my belt. I'm only on my 3rd tank of fuel with this thing so far.

    I'm surprised that caused it. Or that it could come loose in the first place.

    I think loose plugs from the Factory are a known issue.
