Hi all, I have been reading up on suspension kits and have narrowed it down to the Eibach Pro Stage 2 kit and the King 2.5 kit. I know the two are on opposite ends of the spectrum, budget wise, but I face the dilemma of wanting the best of the best. I will mainly be daily driving my taco and doing some weekend off-roading and camping. Even so, I don't want to be held back incase I see a difficult trail I want to attempt. I understand Kings are overkill for this but I can't get past the on-road comfortability that everyone raves about and the actual beauty of the part. I understand that the Eibachs are stiffer but more comfortable than stock OR suspension when driving over potholes at 25-45mph, is this the same for King? My budget is flexible (just means saving up a bit longer), I just want some opinions on whether or not I should pull the trigger on Kings over the Eibachs. Thanks a bunch!

If budget is not a concern, we can set you up with some custom tuned Kings. Like you mentioned, those two options are very very different. Eibach is a budget lift, King is going to be more performance based. Kings are also rebuildable & serviceable. You may not NEED the Kings, but with our tuning they will sure ride nice on all terrain, every day.

Eibachs are what you probably need, Kings are what you want. And that's OK.

I enjoy every minute of driving my truck with my Kings. And would you just look at them!

If you are going down dirt roads to your favorite camping spots save your money, the stocks are fine. Your stock tires are very good too, don't need to upgrade those either.

I have the eibachs and don't recommend them for offroad use, the fox 2.0 or the bilstein 6112/5160 are the cheapest ones that actually work for what an offroad shock is supposed to do. The kings with adjusters would be the best.

I second this post. Especially the Bilstein part, even as a King owner myself. It's admittedly overkill.
