What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Depends on the vehicle too. For a Tacoma that is a lot of air pressure, for a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck it's not.

I did this two weeks ago but finally got a chance to tight everything up. Swapped tent with someone and finally get to mount all of my awnings.

 

Installed a twin ARB compressor along with the wifey air system. Got lines running to all 4 tires

 

I can’t wait to hit allll my new buttons…

I remove, and replaced them all lol. I remapped everything and they look great now. I put that nitrous one on for shits and giggles . Hoping someone would say something… but now that I look at it, how shitty they looked was the real distraction

 

Did a engine bay detail before winter weather starts and added a few cosmetic mods. I let the wife pick the accent color and she picked orange so Inferno it is, looks better than I thought lol. Tailgate letters scare me though lol.

 

Bought an amp. It’s a pos. I either get another one or find a repair shop.

 

Long story short. I hooked up high level speakers and got a grumbling. Went to rca hook up and got the same thing only worse. Well better depending on output

 

How was the install? I have these sitting next to the tool box, working up the nerve to drill into my new truck...

Is that a sticker kit? Details?

 

Was simple... My suggestion for drilling is to seat the bit and then put a plastic tube over it with only sufficient bit exposed to allow the bit to go thru the metal, 3/16" is really all that's necessary... Then take your time drilling... There's no hurry... Entire install takes 45 minutes with following the instructions AND measuring then remeasuring to assure accuracy. Think "measure twice, cut once"....

 

Added these stripes today. I went with grey as our motorhome that we tow the truck with is primarily white with shades of grey so this makes a better match. I also did it because there are a ton of white Tacomas around here and while few have toppers like mine, I needed mine to be a touch more different. It seems like in my neighborhood, every street has a Tacoma!

 

They are made of a high quality vinyl. Others have said theirs has stayed in place for over a year with no peeling.

What brand of amp? I have had very good results with Alpine.
