I swear I looked yesterday and found a writeup with rebuild kit number and a how-to but cant find it for the life of me now.

Anyways, my PS pump went out on my 99 and am looking to rebuild it instead of buying a reman or spending $400 on a OEM. Does anybody have the rebuild kit number and a video or step by step instructions? Any tips?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
The thing is you never really know what you need for parts .

Till your pump is on the bench and inspected.

Now that your kit does not have all the parts what next as you wait weeks for the part you need??

My Go to for things like this is to have sourced a used pump rebuilt that one and just swapped it in when i was under the hood .

It never fails these things happen to me on long Holiday Weekends!

yeah thats a good idea. I may scoop up one if I find one at a pull a part or locally for cheap. Ive gotten close to 200k out of the original one that has a lot of miles on the trail with a locked front end, hopefully ill be on tons with a steering box before I need to replace the stock pump again.
