Anyone know what the OEM wheel width was on a 2003 Tacoma Xtra Cab 4x4 2.7L (not w/ TRD)?

Is the answer a state secret?

You are the state secret (you are the state with Area 51 S4 Bunker)....are they 16 or 15? And a photo would help.

They are most likely 16 which would make them 7" slight chance they are 15" with a 6" width.

There are 2 inventions called the search button on TW and google....search around to confirm. Or take it to a tire shop, they have this plastic rim measure tool

Are you trying to figure out wheels you have now? Or ones you are interested in finding?

Wheels typically have the width stamped on them, so if the wheels are in hand, you should be able to confirm a width.

My '03 Tacoma's tire info sticker in the door jamb lists for 16" wheel:

    P265/70R16

I gather "265" is the tire width in millimeters.

Given my 7x16 wheel, I'm surprised every online wheel width / tire size chart I find online looks like this:

    upload_2022-10-20_18-25-9.jpg

Why do these tables suggest the OEM tire (265mm) is far too wide for a 7" wheel?
