2018s did not come with the prewiring for bed lights. I bought the Matt Geko Led strips. Work great.

I like mine and use them all of the time, but the indirect lighting from the Geko setup is probably better because it doesn't blind you looking back in the bed.

Here’s where I grounded mine. No need to use the self tapping screw on any metal parts. Just replace the round ring connector to fit in the bolt.

Installed these one-touch auto up/down window harnesses. Can't believe this isn't a factory feature (like it is on our 2014 Prius), but I'm glad to have it now. Super easy install and smooth buying experience.

Installed @MESO stealth pro knob for ECT and garage door. I soldered a pigtail connector with two feet of wires to reach the left cubby for easy acces for remote batt replacement and maybe better reception.

Since I will be removing the push start and the 4x4 selector panel, I also ordered the MGM chrome delete kit.

I’m really happy with the outcome even though I just said…no more MoDs!!!

But I was surprised, THANK’S @MESO included a free black shift trim! That’s an $8.00 part. That’s so cool!!! So if you’re near me or want to pay for shipping, you can have this for FREE.
    Sticker NOT included. :D

Where the lights would be installed if done at the factory. The verticals on each side of the tailgate facing forward. When you pull the plastic filler, a break out in the harness with a capped plug is right there. At least it was on mine. Not sure what model year they started leaving access and having the plug there whether it got the option or not.

I ended up painting my fender flare after some girl that was texting while driving ran into the side of my truck and scuffed up the fender flare. It didn’t do anything to my truck other than that. Her car, unfortunately had her painted flare ripped off the side of her car and it was flapping in the wind as she fled the scene.

On a sidenote, the SEM Trim black trim paint is a perfect color match

New shocks look great. But wow. Just a couple of winters with salt? They must use nuclear salt there. For a 2020 it looks 6+ years old on your frame already. Have you ever thought about rust prevention on your frame?

It's funny, my coworker thought the same thing. It does indeed look like rust in the picture but it actually is a dirt and road grime layer on top of a rust prevention coating. I'm not sure whether the previous owner put on fluid film or something else but I can scrape off the "rust" with my fingernail and it's black paint underneath. All of that being said we do use nuclear salt here and an unprotected Tacoma will become rusty far quicker than one would imagine.

Ah lol... makes sense now. I know rust issues are a known issue on these trucks to some degree but just 2 years old... Lol.. Thanks for the clarification.

Nope! Definitely not. Should have recognized that from the plug side of the trim I guess? Lol

    Oh yeah!

    It does get relatively hot.

I guess my driving doesn't have too many/if any bumps because I haven't had that problem.

There is a certain position I place the phone and the light turns on showing charge.

It's not really my "goto" charger...use it when I pretty much don't have other options. lol
