New to me tacoma

Hey there my name is Kyle and I have recently purchased my 2005 Tacoma with 131k on her, shes bright white 2 and no issues so far. I would like to do a few upgrades to her but I will search the forums before I ask questions that may have already been answered, thank you for having me

The early (05-06) 2nd gens had known head gasket issues and you're close to the "pop" milage hopefully that's already been rectified.

Also check your frame around the front motor mounts if you haven't had a recall frame replacement in it's history, they revamped the frame horns there in 07 I believe due to frequently cracking in that area.

Carfax shows good maintenance throughout the years, it has a bit of rust but just surface rust on the bed and door frames which I will be repairing within the next week or 2. The frame looks solid it looks as though it has been either replaced or had the special coating applied to it, it's solid for sure I checked the frame before I even test drove it. I'm not really worried about the head gasket issue as where I have replaced head gaskets before with no issues after repairing them unless toyota has an uneven top and head issue

Just purchased my first Taco. 09 SR5 4L. It also had the treatment applied to the entire undercarriage. Everything seems fine with mine too.
