Rear Bumper Help

Hey All,

I came across this picture, which to me looks similar to a TJ Wrangler bumper but slightly different. Can anyone ID this bumper? Wondering if it is custom because I cannot find anything on it. I was looking at a rock defense rear but like this one A LOT better. Appreciate the help!

@TacoMoose beat me to it. Quick google search looks like they stopped producing a decade ago.

 

Its a shame because a bumper like that would look beautiful on the 3rd gens

Was this one manufactured by bent up?

 

I will check it out. I really like this one. I used to be a Jeeper and ran that style from Smittybilt on my TJ’s.

 

Yep, BU was one of the early fabricators for 1st gens. Known best for plate style and sliders. Can't say I remember that tuber.

Trivia, they once said "An IFS Taco couldn't do Rubicon).

 

Appears warfab doesn’t have 1st gen bumpers…

Gotcha. I just don’t like the trail gear that much

 

Find someone with a tube bender and knows how to use it.

Anyone that knows how to properly use one will easily bend all of that for ya.

Make some notches at the ends, weld it up, and you've got most of your bumper built.

Making mounts for the frame will be easy too as it's just a plate on each side of the frame held by a few bolts.

Ahh, you're the type to stack welds.

I prefer the 'stitch' method.
