Swapped out stock halogen headlights for Morimoto XB LED’s. Still need to make some adjustment to them but they are SO much better already.




Diode Dynamics Fod Lights & Meso Customs Shift knob added to the Tacoma. Got both of these as Christmas gifts.

Method 701 Bronze & Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T

 

I got 701s too, they've been decent to me

 

I got a great deal I think. $900 for 5 brand new

 

No mine came color matched

 

I think next mods will be sliders & headlights. Any recommendations?

for sliders I have to have the ones with the plates on top of them so the dogs can jump in and out.

 

If you want new headlights, you have two real options and a bunch of cheap garbage

1.OEM Leds. You will need a specific SR5 harness in order to install them though.

2. Morimoto xb v2s. 100% plug and play. These are what I have.

I didn’t realize sr5 s come with color matched flares.

 

I like the plug and play aspect of the Morimotos

 

Because SR5 has the orange drl tied to the turn signal wire, you can flip between amber and white drls depending on stalk setting, and depending on if you use the provided fuse tap or not. I also like that the lenses are smoked. I use the fuse tap, which gives a start up light dance and bright white DRLs on stalk "off". See pictures below
