What is this snow thing that you speak of? :notsure: It's still 78 degrees today in Norcal. I just fired up the grill and opened an IPA. :D

Nice! Nothing like working the grill and drinking a beer. I'll also have the backyard TV turned on with a football game. Heck, I might just forget about grilling and just drink beer and watch the game!

I was having a hissy fit/ bad case of denial when I discovered that the whole mess needed to be replaced AFTER I cut the 4 stringers for the stairs (when I was thinking that I only needed new stairs), so I get to eat $120 worth of stringers that are now useless to me. I ignored the deck for a few weeks, then had the setback when the epoxy anchors failed on me. It took another week and a half to come up with the game plan to finish this -ish.

I forgot to drop a plumb line down from the edge of the old joist beam before I tore it down, so I lost my reference point. This was a PIA to re-establish the edge but it worked out. Everything is within 1/8" from where things used to be.

Here's some home made chicken noodle soup for everyone!

All good here. Winter is moving in slowly ... the snow that stays should happen next couple of weeks.
    Enjoy your Sunday. :)
