I knew what I wanted to do with it when I bought the 09 Taco, couldn't talk myself out of another one. I did try, considered a Frontier, but, decided the way the box was done was worth the extra on the Taco. I had 17 yrs on a 92 Toy, it had some hard miles, was not nice to it, I know what they'll do or not do. Also had a CJ5 from 78-92, I got tired of working on it, bought the 92 new, so I wouldn't have to work on it, which I didn't other than bulbs and the back brakes.
This one got alum wheels, 265-75r16 tires, the topper, the rack on the topper for carrying boats and a new winch & bumper, and a levelling kit because of the winch. Couldn't use my old winch on it at the time, no bumper around that the old stand up Warn would mount on. It's been good, two frt wheel brgs, few bulbs, windshields and mirrors, regular maint items, 4th set of tires, just going to do 1st set of brakes on it, as the back ones are glazed to the point the brake won't hold, my fault, the emerg brake beeper works, just doesn't register on the nut behind the wheel. all are original, 300,000km. Haven't done shocks yet. Thought I had a bad window switch, just sprayed it out with elec cleaner, working fine again. Truck has been really good to me, it has it's chips, dings and dents, it's earned them.

    Stock as soon now
It has served you well up until this point. I recently acquired a 09 Prerunner with mostly 213k of highway miles. It’s pretty much like bone stock. I have confidence it’ll go for another 200k as long as I do my part. I do have some plans to make it light off-road capable. This will be my first foray into the Taco world and will surely learn a thing or two.

Nice truck, it will serve you well. What I really like is that you are a waterfowl hunter, we’re friends already
